Morgan Family Collection, 1900-1905.

The Morgan Family Collection contains photographs and other items depicting the college lives of Ida Morgan Duggar Herlong and, to a lesser extent, her brother, Lloyd Williamson Morgan. The collection also includes secondary sources on the Morgan Family. The photographs mostly depicting the life of Ida Morgan at the Florida Agricultural College, the University of Florida, and the Florida State College. There are also three photographs of Lloyd Morgan when he attended FAC. Other items include a sterling UF pennant lapel pin, two letters written to Ida Morgan when she was a FAC student, a textbook owned by Lloyd Morgan, and family and biographical material.

Ida and Lloyd Morgan were the children of Daniel Lewis Morgan and Ida Riddle Morgan. Lloyd was born in 1880 in Clarke County, Alabama. The Morgans moved to Norwalk, Florida, around 1883 and it was there that Ida was born in 1885. Both Ida and Lloyd attended the Florida Agricultural College at Lake City.
